Sitting here thinking about the past 8 weeks I have been reminded why I work in Child Care....for the children. And I have had some thoughts that I would like to share:
First is this, when you work with children it is important to treat each one as an individual. All children are different and sometimes they cannot conform to your way of thinking.
And second, everything that we do affects the children in our lives so it is up to us to make the great impressions so that our imprint on their lives last longer than the negative ones that others leave behind.
Thanks for a great 8 weeks. ;)

Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your post and pictures for this week, thank you for sharing. Thank you for sharing both your personal and your professional experiences. I have enjoyed reading your post and I wish you great success on your journey.
Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteYour post is beautiful it shows you are in the right profession. I wish you great success.
Jennifer, it was so nice reading your posts during the last 8 weeks. You seem to have a great deal of enthusiasm working with children. I know that being a director is a lot of work and you will have to make many decisions along the way but in the end if your focus is what is best for the children you will be on the right track. Good luck with your professional career and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJennifer,
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is important to make a good impression, and to keep in mind that every child is different. I believe that it is important to teach children what they need to learn in order to become functioning citizens. We, as teachers, have a huge role in doing that and in most ways we make the largest impacts. I have really enjoyed working with you in this class. I have learned a great deal from you. Thank you and best of luck.

ReplyDeleteWe must treat each baby as an individual. We are all different and I always tell them that's why each of them are so special in their own little special way. Love your blog, absolutely wonderful!! Much continued success.
