I am excited to be starting my very first blog! I have been working in childcare for the past 8 years and am currently a childcare center director as well as a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. While I have spent the last 7 years being in a classroom and educating children but this last year as an Assistant Director, then Director, has been extremely rewarding and I feel like I have finally found where I belong. As a center Director I am making curricula decisions and helping to provide the center with the staff needed to help the children have a safe and loving educational environment that they can remember for a life time. I look forward to this blog and sharing experiences with everyone. I also look forward to others sharing their ideas and experiences with me.
